Remember, your primary care provider (PCP) is listed on your Healthfirst Member ID card. Be sure to use this PCP to avoid any unnecessary charges.

In addition to finding dental problems such as cavities, dental exams can detect the first signs of diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease. So it’s important to stay on top of your dental health.

Most plans with dental coverage include two cleanings a year, as well as other services. So it’s easy to have good oral health.

In addition to checking your eyesight and recommending eyewear for you, annual eye exams can detect vision problems early so you can better treat diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.

Most plans with vision coverage include an annual eye exam, regular checkups, and an allowance for eyeglasses or contacts.
