Prior Approval Rate Changes
On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, Healthfirst submitted a rate-change request to the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) to change the premium rates for our 2023 commercial plans. If the NYDFS approves the change, the new rates will go into effect on January 1, 2023. Healthfirst members will receive a notice about these rate changes at least 60 days prior to the effective date of the new rates.
