COVID-19 Vaccinations
It’s never been easier to get a COVID-19 vaccination in NYC. People six months of age and older are eligible for the vaccine. Vaccines are covered regardless of immigration status. Learn about the benefits of vaccination.
Vaccination is safer than risking illness, long-term health effects, or death from COVID-19. Even people who have had COVID-19 should get vaccinated.
If you are undecided about getting a COVID-19 vaccine, talk with your healthcare provider or pharmacist about your concerns. You can also call the Member Services phone number on your Healthfirst Member ID card if you have any questions about vaccines.
Where To Get Vaccinated
Call your doctor, pharmacist, local Urgent Care center, or health clinic to ask if you can get vaccinated through them. Or find a vaccination site near you through the NYC Vaccine Finder (not accessible with Internet Explorer). You can also call 1-877-829-4692 to schedule an appointment at certain sites.
For New Yorkers Who Live Outside of NYC
Visit vaccines.gov to find testing sites across the U.S. that are open to non-residents.
Get Transportation To a Vaccination Site
NYC residents 65 and older can get free transportation to and from a vaccination appointment. This service is also available for those with disabilities who have no other way to get to a vaccination site.
